Key Responsibilities- Provide advanced surgical care and consultation to general surgery patients within the hospital.
- Participate actively in ward rounds, outpatient clinics, and emergency surgical services.
- Supervise, train, and mentor resident doctors, medical officers, and undergraduate medical students.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety standards.
- Engage in institutional research, clinical audits, and continuous professional development programs.
- Possession of an MBBS, MBChB, or equivalent primary medical qualification.
- Full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) along with a current practicing license.
- Evidence of completion, exemption, or exclusion from the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
- Must hold a recognized postgraduate medical qualification, such as the Fellowship of the West African College of Surgeons (FWACS) or equivalent.
- Demonstrated clinical excellence and commitment to medical ethics and patient-centered care.
