About the Role
Reddington Hospital, a leading multi-specialist tertiary healthcare institution in Victoria Island, Lagos, is looking for a highly skilled Consultant Paediatrician to join our expanding clinical team. Key Responsibilities- Manage comprehensive paediatric outpatient consultations, inpatient admissions, and emergency paediatric cases.
- Formulate and execute evidence-based treatment plans while closely monitoring childhood developmental milestones.
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary ward rounds, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate seamlessly with other medical specialists to deliver holistic, patient-centered care.
- Provide clinical mentorship to junior medical staff and nursing teams within the department.
- Must hold a Fellowship of the West African College of Physicians (FWACP) or National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (FMC Paed) in General Paediatrics.
- Possess full registration and a current practicing license with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- Demonstrate a minimum of 2 to 3 years of post-fellowship clinical experience in a recognized healthcare setting.
- Proven track record of excellence in managing paediatric emergencies and critical care.
