About the Role
Lily Hospitals Limited, a leading multi-specialty private healthcare provider established in 1984, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will deliver world-class, evidence-based obstetric and gynaecological care, managing both routine and high-risk cases while upholding the highest standards of patient safety and clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive antenatal, obstetric, and gynaecological assessments and manage normal and high-risk pregnancies.
- Manage critical obstetric emergencies such as postpartum haemorrhage, pre-eclampsia, and obstructed labour.
- Perform advanced surgical interventions, including Caesarean sections and gynaecological procedures.
- Provide expert treatment for conditions such as fibroids, endometriosis, infertility, and menopausal disorders.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including paediatricians, anaesthesiologists, and midwives.
- Supervise, mentor, and support junior medical staff while participating in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives.
- Possess an MBBS or equivalent medical qualification with a valid practising licence from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- Hold a recognized Fellowship in Obstetrics & Gynaecology (FMCOG, FWACS, or equivalent).
- Demonstrate a minimum of 3 years of post-fellowship experience as a Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist.
