About the Role

Dragnet Solutions, a leading human resources and recruitment technology firm in Nigeria, is seeking a qualified and dedicated Consultant Family Medicine for our esteemed client in Warri, Delta State. In this pivotal role, you will deliver comprehensive specialist family medicine care across outpatient, inpatient, and referral settings, establishing exceptional clinical standards and driving patient safety initiatives in a dynamic multidisciplinary healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist assessment, diagnosis, and management for a broad range of acute and chronic family medicine presentations, handling complex cases with senior clinical expertise.
  • Supervise, teach, and mentor senior medical officers, medical officers, and trainees to foster continuous professional development.
  • Contribute actively to clinical governance, medical audits, quality improvement, and comprehensive patient-safety programs.
  • Coordinate holistic patient care seamlessly with other medical specialties, diagnostics, pharmacy, nursing, and HMO functions using evidence-based practices.
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
  • Possess a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS or MBChB) from a recognized institution.
  • Successful completion of mandatory housemanship, internship, and NYSC, or hold a valid exemption.
  • Valid and current practicing license issued by the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
  • Minimum of 3 years of post-fellowship specialist experience in Family Medicine or recognized consultant-level practice.
  • Proven ability to manage complex clinical cases independently and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and teaching skills.
  • Additional sub-specialty training, certifications, or active membership in relevant medical professional associations will be an added advantage.
