About the Role

We have successfully delivered numerous iconic projects within the Lagos skyline and beyond. We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to drive the successful delivery of high-value construction projects while maintaining excellence in time, cost, quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of construction projects from inception to completion
  • Develop and manage detailed project programmes using Microsoft Project, including critical path analysis, resource planning, and progress tracking
  • Prepare and present comprehensive weekly and monthly project reports, dashboards, recovery plans, and management updates
  • Administer project contracts, variations, extensions of time, notices, and contractual obligations in compliance with JCT and applicable contract conditions
  • Coordinate Site Engineers, Project Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, Procurement, HSE, and subcontractors to achieve project objectives
  • Monitor project budgets, cash flow, procurement, and cost performance, implementing corrective actions as required
  • Lead client, consultant, and progress meetings, professionally representing Ucalux in all project-related engagements
  • Identify project risks, delays, claims, and technical issues, driving timely resolution and mitigation strategies

Qualifications
  • B.Sc. or HND in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
  • Minimum 7–10 years' experience managing medium to large-scale construction projects
  • Strong working knowledge of JCT contracts, variations, claims, and construction contract administration
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project (mandatory)
  • Excellent reporting, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities with confidence to engage at management level
  • Professional certification such as COREN, PMP, NIOB, or NIQS (required)
