About the Role
Amo Farm Sieberer Hatchery Limited is a leading agribusiness in Nigeria with a vision to dominate the day-old chicks market through exceptional quality products. We are currently seeking a highly competent, results-driven Construction Project Engineer to manage the planning, engineering, execution, and completion of infrastructure projects across our corporate and agricultural facilities, ensuring all developments are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, coordinate, and manage construction projects from concept and design through execution, commissioning, and final handover.
- Review architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering drawings to ensure compliance with approved specifications and BOQs.
- Supervise contractors, subcontractors, and consultants daily, ensuring high standards of workmanship and adherence to project schedules.
- Monitor project budgets, review contractor valuations, assess variations, and implement cost-control measures without compromising quality.
- Enforce strict Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) compliance across all active project sites.
- Coordinate material procurement, technical evaluations, and maintain accurate project documentation and progress reports.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Construction, Structural, or Building Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant construction project engineering experience within industrial, manufacturing, or agricultural sectors.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, engineering principles, site supervision, and contract management.
- Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and utilizing project management software.
- Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills with a willingness to travel to project sites.
