About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the financial success of our construction and interior fit-out projects by maintaining rigorous cost control, preparing accurate estimates, and managing commercial contracts effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for new constructions, renovations, interior fit-outs, and maintenance works across various project stages.
  • Conduct weekly valuations of ongoing projects, measure completed works, and certify project progress.
  • Prepare tender documents, procurement schedules, and obtain competitive quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Review subcontract agreements and verify payment requests submitted by site builders, engineers, vendors, and artisans.
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimisation and value engineering without compromising quality standards.
  • Participate in project valuation meetings with clients and consultants, and prepare interim valuations and final accounts.

Qualifications
  • B.Sc. or HND in Quantity Surveying with a minimum of 4 years of relevant post-graduate experience in consultancy and construction firms.
  • Active membership in the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NIQS); QSRBN registration is an added advantage.
  • Proven hands-on experience handling residential, commercial, institutional, and interior fit-out projects.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, and industry-standard estimation software such as CostX or Cubit.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and contract administration skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
