About the Role
Amo Farm Sieberer Hatchery Limited, a market leader in the Nigerian poultry industry, is seeking a driven Construction Project Engineer to oversee our expanding infrastructure and building projects. You will play a crucial role in planning, executing, and delivering high-quality facilities that support our operational excellence across Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, coordinate, and manage construction projects from initial concept through execution, commissioning, and final handover.
- Review architectural, civil, structural, and MEP engineering drawings to ensure strict adherence to project specifications and standards.
- Supervise contractors, subcontractors, and site personnel daily to guarantee compliance with timelines, quality, and safety requirements.
- Monitor project expenditures, review Bills of Quantities (BOQs), assess contractor valuations, and manage cost variations effectively.
- Enforce Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) compliance across all active construction sites, mitigating risks and resolving hazards promptly.
- Coordinate testing, commissioning, and snagging processes to ensure seamless facility handover and documentation.
- Bachelor Degree in Civil, Construction, or Structural Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant construction project engineering experience within industrial, manufacturing, or agricultural sectors in Nigeria.
- Demonstrated expertise in site supervision, contractor management, and interpreting complex engineering drawings.
- Strong working knowledge of project management software, BOQs, cost control, and HSE regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and organizational abilities with a hands-on approach.
