About the Role
Craneburg Construction Company is one of Nigeria's largest and most diversified private construction groups. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Construction Manager to lead our site operations, driving complex projects from inception to successful handover while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily construction activities and site operations to ensure seamless execution.
- Manage Site Engineers, Supervisors, Foremen, subcontractors, and other site personnel effectively.
- Monitor project progress closely, ensuring activities meet approved schedules and critical milestones.
- Ensure all construction works strictly comply with engineering drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards.
- Coordinate manpower, materials, heavy equipment, and subcontractors to maintain optimal site productivity.
- Conduct regular site inspections to proactively resolve technical, operational, and logistical challenges.
- Enforce strict compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies across the entire site.
- Liaise seamlessly with Project Managers, consultants, clients, and external stakeholders.
- Prepare comprehensive progress reports, highlighting potential risks, delays, and resource requirements.
- Monitor site costs, minimize material wastage, and oversee project handover and documentation.
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building Technology, or a related field.
- 8 to 12 years of relevant professional construction experience, with a proven track record in a senior site management role.
- Extensive experience managing multidisciplinary construction teams, subcontractors, and complex project schedules.
- Comprehensive knowledge of modern construction methods, industry quality standards, and Nigerian HSE regulations.
