About the Role
O.K. Isokariari & Sons (Nigeria) Limited, a leading Engineering, Procurement and Construction company with over 45 years of industry excellence, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Concrete Supervisor to join our site operations team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality structural elements including foundations, columns, beams, slabs, and retaining walls with absolute precision and structural integrity.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise day-to-day concrete construction activities to ensure strict conformity with approved structural drawings and specifications.
- Oversee formwork erection, scaffolding, and reinforcement steel placement prior to concrete pouring.
- Manage concrete batching, transportation, pouring, vibration, and finishing operations to prevent structural flaws.
- Coordinate with the QC team for slump tests, casting test cubes, and maintaining proper curing procedures.
- Supervise equipment deployment, monitor raw material stock levels, and enforce comprehensive site safety and HSE compliance.
- Minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND), Higher National Diploma (HND), or relevant Trade Test in Civil Engineering or Building Technology.
- At least 5 years of proven hands-on site supervision experience focusing on structural concrete works and civil infrastructure.
- Deep technical knowledge of concrete technology, mix designs, and reinforcement detailing.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex structural engineering drawings and bar bending schedules.
