About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and comprehensive computer science lessons to secondary school students in accordance with the Nigerian secondary school curriculum.
  • Design, prepare, and implement innovative practical computer laboratory sessions that foster hands-on technical skills.
  • Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing constructive feedback to support academic growth.
  • Maintain a disciplined, safe, and inspiring learning environment that promotes high moral standards and ethical technology use.
  • Prepare students effectively for external examinations including WAEC and NECO.
  • Participate actively in school extracurricular activities, staff meetings, and professional development programs.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of a B.Sc in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant discipline (a PGDE or M.Sc will be a distinct advantage).
  • 3 to 15 years of cognate teaching experience as a classroom computer teacher in a reputable private secondary school.
  • Possess exceptionally high moral standards, a God-fearing disposition, and a passion for youth development.
  • Innovative, goal-oriented, and capable of inspiring students to explore modern technological concepts.
  • Strong classroom management and effective communication skills.
