About the Role
White Diamonds Academy is a modern, dynamic, and progressive educational institution located in a safe and serene community in Jos, Plateau State. We provide exceptional educational services from creche to high school, integrating a hybrid of national and international curricula. We are currently seeking a dedicated Computer Studies Teacher to inspire our learners through innovative, value-based technology education.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and comprehensive Computer Studies lessons to students across elementary and high school levels.
- Integrate STEAM concepts, coding, and artificial intelligence basics into the daily curriculum.
- Utilize modern Microsoft tools and educational technology to enhance classroom instruction and student engagement.
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate academic records.
- Foster a disciplined, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment aligned with Christian values and principles.
- Participate in school activities, staff meetings, and professional development programs.
- B.Ed. or B.Sc. Ed in Computer Education, or a B.Sc. in Computer Science combined with an NCE or PGDE.
- Mandatory registration with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN).
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience teaching Computer Studies in a recognized, standard school.
- Proficiency in Microsoft productivity tools, fundamental coding languages, and basic artificial intelligence knowledge.
