About the Role
IEIS Education Group Limited, incorporated in January 1999, has successfully assisted thousands of international students in gaining foreign qualifications through expert career counselling and visa application support. We are currently looking for a dedicated Compliance Officer to uphold our high operational standards, safeguard our regulatory integrity, and ensure smooth, transparent processes across our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, review, and implement comprehensive compliance policies and procedures to meet national and international regulatory standards.
- Monitor daily operations and internal processes to identify potential compliance risks or breaches.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changing regulations related to international education consultancy, student recruitment, and visa advisory services.
- Conduct regular internal audits and risk assessments to ensure staff adherence to company protocols and legal requirements.
- Lodge detailed compliance reports to senior management and recommend corrective actions when operational gaps are identified.
- Provide guidance and compliance training to staff members across different departments to foster a culture of integrity and accountability.
- Handle confidential student documentation and data privacy practices in strict alignment with relevant data protection laws.
- Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related relevant discipline from a recognized institution.
- Proven professional experience working in a compliance, legal, or risk management role, preferably within the education, consulting, or financial sector.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance standards applicable to international operations.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulations and translate them into actionable business policies.
- High level of integrity, strong attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving capabilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for training staff and liaising with external regulatory bodies.
