About the Role

We are currently looking for a diligent Compliance Accountant to join our finance team in Nigeria, reporting directly to the Tax Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns, including company income tax, withholding tax, and VAT.
- Maintain 100% statutory compliance to achieve zero fines and penalties.
- Review weekly payment schedules to guarantee accurate tax applications and secure necessary regulatory certificates like TCC.
- Manage desk reviews, tax audits, and annual external audits efficiently.
- Reconcile compliance-related general ledgers and monitor insurance trackers to eliminate organizational risk exposure.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including tax consultants, auditors, and insurance brokers.
- HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Relevant professional certifications such as ACA or ACCA are preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a similar tax or compliance accounting role.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel and accounting software, preferably Odoo.
