About the Role
Geoplex Drillteq Limited is the fastest-growing indigenous oilfield service company in Nigeria, committed to delivering high-quality, cost-effective solutions to the upstream oil and gas sector. We are currently looking for a skilled Completions Operator to support our expanding operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and excellence in service delivery across all wellsite activities.
Key Responsibilities- Perform assembly, redress, function testing, and installation of completion equipment according to standard operating procedures.
- Utilize hand tools, torque equipment, precision measuring instruments, and pressure-testing equipment safely and accurately.
- Read and interpret basic completion schematics, technical drawings, and operational manuals.
- Maintain strict adherence to health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ) standards during all workshop and field operations.
- Collaborate effectively with field engineers, clients, and technical teams to ensure timely and successful project execution.
- Troubleshoot completion tools and equipment malfunctions promptly to minimize operational downtime.
- OND, HND, Technical Diploma, or recognized vocational qualification in Mechanical, Petroleum, Electrical, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience working with completion tools in the oil and gas industry.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with a proven track record in equipment maintenance and workshop operations.
- Prior field experience with an established completion tools or oilfield service company will be a strong advantage.
- Good communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
