About the Role

Addosser Microfinance Bank Limited is a leading financial institution dedicated to providing accessible banking services to small and medium-scale entrepreneurs, traders, artisans, and low-income earners. We are currently seeking a dynamic and analytical Compensation and Benefits Officer to join our growing Human Resources team in Nigeria. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing our total rewards strategy, ensuring accurate payroll administration, maintaining statutory compliance, and delivering exceptional employee services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end employee compensation and benefits administration, ensuring absolute accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Prepare monthly payroll and coordinate timely, seamless salary disbursements.
  • Compute appropriate PAYE, Pension, NSITF, ITF, Group Life, and other statutory deductions in line with Nigerian Federal and State regulations.
  • Prepare precise exit computations in accordance with employment terms and conditions.
  • Compute leave allowances and verify amounts due to prevent overpayments or duplicates.
  • Update HMO and Group Life Insurance enrollee lists regularly to facilitate timely premium payments.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of compensation programs, salary surveys, and pay structure frameworks.
  • Prepare and analyze compensation-related reports, workforce metrics, and HR dashboards for management decision-making.
  • Support the annual compensation review cycle, including performance-based salary adjustments and bonus administration.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to employee and manager inquiries regarding compensation and benefits policies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Statistics, or any other Social Science discipline.
  • 3 to 6 years of progressive HR experience, with a minimum of 2 years focused specifically on Compensation and Benefits.
  • Strong, demonstrable knowledge of Nigerian payroll processing, compensation structures, and benefits administration.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and industrial relations capabilities.
  • High level of integrity, acute attention to detail, and utmost professionalism.
