We are currently seeking a skilled, compassionate, and dedicated Community Health Practitioner to join our dynamic medical team on a full-time, on-site basis. In this vital role, you will be at the forefront of patient care, ensuring that individuals and families receive the highest standard of clinical attention and health education.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care including clinical assessment, health monitoring, and effective treatment across primary and secondary care settings.
- Administer anesthesia, assist during surgical procedures, and deliver specialized critical care nursing depending on professional credentials.
- Manage emergency and acute medical cases efficiently to stabilize patients and ensure positive health outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare team members to develop, execute, and evaluate comprehensive patient care plans.
- Maintain precise, confidential clinical documentation while strictly adhering to institutional safety and infection control protocols.
- Engage actively in community health education, outreach programs, and internal quality improvement initiatives.
- Valid registration and current practicing license with the appropriate Nigerian regulatory body.
- Demonstrated clinical competence in community health, nursing, and general medicine appropriate for primary and secondary healthcare delivery.
- Relevant training and practical experience in anesthesiology, perioperative surgical support, and critical care nursing.
- Exceptional clinical decision-making, patient monitoring, and emergency response capabilities.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills with an unwavering commitment to patient confidentiality and safety.
- Ability to work on-site in Ilesa in a fast-paced medical environment, including willingness to take on shift work, weekends, and on-call duties.
