About the Role
Jaza Energy, a pioneering last-mile energy company building solar charging stations and battery rentals for off-grid communities, is seeking a talented Commissioning Team Lead to join our growing team in Anambra, Nigeria. In this pivotal role, you will manage a dedicated team of technicians, oversee technical installations, and guarantee that our service locations meet stringent quality standards while driving our regional expansion targets.
Key Responsibilities- Recruit, train, and mentor expansion technicians while tracking team performance and commissioning schedules.
- Oversee technical designs, equipment preparation, and inventory management to ensure seamless site deployment.
- Maintain a First Pass Yield (FPY) of 95 percent or higher through rigorous quality control and technical audits.
- Address complex technical challenges, troubleshoot issues across multiple sites, and implement corrective measures.
- Setup new sites in digital management systems like the Star App, Dashboard, and Dataverse, reporting key metrics to leadership.
- Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or a related technical field.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in solar PV system design and electrical installations.
- Strong background in quality assurance, inventory management, and technical reporting.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to travel frequently to remote off-grid locations and adapt to new technologies.
