In this role, you will leverage your financial acumen and risk intelligence to build strategic partnerships, drive business growth, and deliver bespoke banking solutions that add long-term value to our commercial clients.
Key Responsibilities- Cultivate and manage strategic partnerships with commercial clients to deliver customized banking solutions.
- Transform transactional interactions into trusted advisory relationships generating long-term client value.
- Perform in-depth financial analysis, viability assessments, and cash flow projections.
- Craft distinctive credit proposals balancing client requirements with institutional risk parameters.
- Proactively identify and convert new business opportunities to expand the bank's commercial footprint in Abia.
- Monitor portfolio performance for early risk indicators and execute proactive mitigation strategies.
- Maintain unwavering adherence to banking regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of complex financial solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; advanced degrees or professional certifications are a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in commercial banking or corporate lending.
- Proven track record in credit analysis, portfolio management, and business development.
- Strong command of commercial banking products and the Nigerian regulatory landscape.
