Victrius Academy is a newly established, dynamic educational institution located in the vibrant Hajj Camp area of Gwagwalada, Abuja. We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified Commerce Teacher to join our dedicated team and inspire the next generation of business leaders.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and comprehensive Commerce lessons in accordance with the approved school curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support to ensure academic success.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively and maintain a safe, orderly learning space.
- Participate in departmental meetings, school events, professional development workshops, and parent-teacher conferences.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and academic performance.
- Minimum qualification includes a B.Ed, B.Sc, B.A, PGDE, NCE, HND, or ND in Commerce, Business Education, Economics, or related subject areas.
- Proven teaching experience in a recognized secondary school setting is an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of Nigerian secondary school curriculum standards for commercial subjects.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to engage students and adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles.
