About the Role
Royal Farms Integrated Products Limited is a premier Nigerian agribusiness and food distribution company headquartered in Aba, Abia State. Established in 2014, we specialize in the large-scale supply, cold storage, and logistics of high-quality agro-allied commodities and food staples for wholesale and retail markets across Nigeria. We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cold Room Attendant to maintain optimal storage conditions and oversee inventory management within our state-of-the-art cold storage facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and regulate cold room temperatures to ensure optimal preservation of perishable agro-allied commodities and food products.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming inventory against delivery manifests, noting any discrepancies or damages.
- Organize and store goods systematically within the cold storage facility to maximize space efficiency and facilitate easy retrieval.
- Conduct routine stock counts and maintain accurate records of inventory levels, stock movement, and wastage.
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and hygiene standards, ensuring the cold room environment remains clean and contamination-free.
- Coordinate with the logistics and distribution team to ensure timely and accurate loading of products for dispatch.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or temperature fluctuations immediately to the maintenance team.
- Minimum of an SSCE, OND, or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant field.
- Proven work experience as a cold room attendant, warehouse operative, or in a similar inventory management role within the food or agriculture sector.
- Familiarity with temperature-controlled storage operations and basic inventory tracking principles.
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to work in low-temperature environments for extended periods.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced team environment.
