About the Role
The Borough Lagos is seeking an experienced and commercially driven General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations and overall performance of our premier boutique hotel and restaurant in Lagos. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with strong hospitality, financial, and people-management skills, capable of driving business growth while maintaining excellent service and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily operations of the hotel and restaurant, ensuring smooth, efficient, and high-quality service delivery.
- Lead and manage department heads and operational teams to drive accountability, performance, and guest satisfaction.
- Drive revenue growth, profitability, occupancy rates, and overall restaurant sales performance.
- Monitor budgets, expenses, procurement, inventory levels, and implement strict cost control measures.
- Develop, enforce, and maintain operational policies, SOPs, and uncompromising cleanliness and service standards.
- Oversee recruitment, training, performance management, and employee development in collaboration with HR.
- Manage guest feedback and resolve complaints swiftly to guarantee exceptional service recovery.
- Identify commercial opportunities for business growth, partnerships, and revenue-generating events.
- Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in hotel, hospitality, or restaurant operations, with at least 3 years in a senior management role.
- Proven expertise managing integrated hotel and F&B/restaurant operations.
- Strong commercial acumen with a solid track record in budget management, cost control, and inventory optimization.
