About the Role

DESAC Energy Nigeria Limited is a leading indigenous oil and gas, engineering, and industrial construction company based in Warri, Delta State. We provide comprehensive services covering oilfield operations, marine logistics, engineering, fabrication, maintenance, and other energy-related solutions. We are currently seeking experienced Coil Tubing Engineers to support our growing portfolio of offshore and onshore projects, ensuring optimal well intervention and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, design, and execute coil tubing operations safely and efficiently in accordance with client specifications and industry standards.
  • Monitor well conditions, fluid parameters, and equipment performance continuously during operations to mitigate risks.
  • Supervise rig-up and rig-down procedures, pre-job safety meetings, and equipment inspections on location.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues related to coil tubing units, downhole tools, and associated surface equipment.
  • Prepare comprehensive daily operations reports, end-of-well summaries, and post-job evaluations for management and clients.
  • Ensure strict compliance with company Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) policies and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including petrophysicists, drillers, and client representatives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 to 7 years of hands-on experience in coil tubing operations within the Nigerian oil and gas sector.
  • Valid IWCF or WellSharp certification and relevant offshore survival certifications (HUET/BOSIET).
  • Demonstrated expertise in well intervention techniques, fluid pumping, and nitrogen operations.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills for onshore and offshore environments.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure in remote field locations across the Niger Delta region.
