About the Role
Renmoney is dedicated to making finance simple, useful, and accessible through data-driven financial products. We are currently looking for a skilled Cloud Security Engineer to join our dynamic team in Lagos, Nigeria, and protect our expanding digital infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement secure cloud architectures for IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Manage cloud-native security tools, monitor misconfigurations using CSPM solutions, and support DevOps pipelines with SAST and DAST integration.
- Implement and enforce robust Identity and Access Management controls, including IAM, RBAC, MFA, and the principle of least privilege.
- Analyze cloud security alerts, investigate suspicious activities, and drive effective incident response strategies.
- Ensure cloud environments comply with regulatory requirements and industry frameworks such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and CIS Benchmarks.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5 to 7 years of hands-on professional experience in cloud engineering or dedicated cloud security roles.
- Strong expertise in at least one major cloud platform alongside deep knowledge of networking concepts and security hardening.
- Relevant professional certifications such as AWS Certified Security, Azure Security Engineer, CISSP, or CCSP are highly preferred.
