About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Clinical Pharmacist to join our healthcare team in Lagos. In this role, you will play a critical part in patient care by developing and managing medication therapy plans, ensuring optimal treatment outcomes while minimizing risks associated with drug interactions and adverse effects.

As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to review patient records, evaluate treatment plans, and provide expert guidance on medication management. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement clinical pharmacy programs in line with healthcare policies and regulations
  • Review patient records to assess the appropriateness of prescribed medication therapy
  • Evaluate patients' conditions to ensure all health issues are being adequately addressed
  • Identify untreated health problems and refer patients to appropriate physicians for further care
  • Design effective medication plans that minimize the risk of adverse side effects
  • Provide expert consultation on dosages, medication substances, and drug interactions
  • Advise healthcare teams and patients on the correct administration of medications
  • Assess and monitor the outcomes of pharmaceutical treatments
  • Collaborate closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of medication plans and patient progress

Qualifications
  • HND or Degree in Pharmacy or Pharmacology
  • Proven experience working as a Clinical Pharmacist
  • Completed residency training with a current and valid pharmacy license
  • Excellent understanding of pharmaceutical therapy and direct patient care practices
  • Solid knowledge of drug administration procedures and health and safety guidelines
  • Working knowledge of computer systems and pharmacy management software
  • Strong team player with outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated strong professional ethics and attention to detail
