About the Role
Cedar Grillz & Lounge is a contemporary food and lifestyle destination offering delicious meals, premium grills, refreshing drinks, and a relaxed lounge experience. We are currently looking for a meticulous Cleaner / Hygiene Officer to ensure our dining areas, lounge spaces, and facilities maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation for our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine and deep cleaning of the restaurant, lounge, bar, and restroom areas to meet health and safety standards.
- Sanitize all surfaces, tables, chairs, door handles, and high-touch points regularly throughout shifts.
- Dispose of waste properly and maintain clean disposal areas in compliance with sanitation regulations.
- Manage cleaning supplies inventory and report shortages to management in a timely manner.
- Respond promptly to spillages or cleaning requests from guests and floor staff with utmost professionalism.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is safely operated, maintained, and stored after use.
- Minimum of SSCE/WAEC/NECO with good communication skills in English.
- Previous professional cleaning or sanitation experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is strongly preferred.
- Good understanding of health, safety, and hygiene protocols in food service settings.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical cleaning tasks efficiently.
- Keen attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward maintaining a spotless environment.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends.
