We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our vibrant school community in maintaining a pristine, hygienic, and safe environment conducive to learning and holistic student development.
Key Responsibilities- Perform thorough cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming classrooms, hallways, offices, and restrooms.
- Ensure all school facilities are sanitized and disinfected regularly to maintain a healthy environment for students and staff.
- Properly handle, store, and maintain cleaning equipment and chemical supplies in compliance with safety standards.
- Empty trash receptacles and manage waste disposal efficiently throughout the school premises.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards observed during routine cleaning to the appropriate administrative department.
- Assist with setting up venues for school events, assemblies, and extracurricular activities as required.
- Possession of a First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC), SSCE, or other relevant educational qualifications.
- Proven previous experience working as a cleaner, custodian, or housekeeper, preferably within an educational or institutional setting.
- Strong attention to detail with a solid commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Ability to manage time effectively, work independently, and follow instructions diligently.
- Good interpersonal skills and a respectful, trustworthy demeanor suitable for a school environment.
- Physical stamina and ability to handle moderate physical exertion, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
