About the Role
Seth Hotels, Apartments & Suites, a premier 3-star hospitality destination located in Asaba, Delta State, is seeking detail-oriented and dedicated Housekeepers to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring that our hotel rooms, suites, and public areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and hygiene. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional guest experiences, and our housekeeping staff is at the heart of making every visitor feel welcomed and cared for during their stay.
Key Responsibilities- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of guest rooms, suites, bathrooms, and corridors according to hotel standards.
- Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish guest room amenities such as toiletries, towels, and stationery.
- Inspect rooms for any maintenance issues, damages, or missing items and report them promptly to the maintenance department.
- Manage laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing hotel linens and staff uniforms.
- Maintain cleanliness in public areas, including the lobby, hallways, and recreational spaces.
- Handle guest requests and inquiries courteously and efficiently, ensuring prompt resolution of any housekeeping concerns.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines set by management.
- Minimum of a SSCE, OND, or equivalent relevant qualification.
- Proven working experience as a housekeeper, cleaner, or in a similar role within the hospitality industry is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard of personal hygiene and presentation.
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision and manage time effectively.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and customer-oriented attitude.
- Physical stamina and ability to stand, bend, and lift moderate weights throughout the shift.
- Applicants residing in Asaba, Delta State, or its immediate environs will be given priority.
