About the Role
Seth Hotels, Apartments & Suites, a premier 3-star hospitality destination located in Asaba, Delta State, is seeking a diligent and experienced Laundry Personnel to join our vibrant housekeeping team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all hotel linens, towels, guest garments, and staff uniforms are impeccably cleaned, pressed, and maintained to the highest standards of hygiene and presentation. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, possesses great attention to detail, and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities- Operate commercial washing machines, dryers, and ironing equipment efficiently and safely.
- Sort, weigh, and pre-treat stained items using appropriate cleaning agents and techniques.
- Inspect all processed linens and garments for quality, stains, or damages before distribution.
- Fold, stack, and organize clean linens and uniforms neatly in designated storage areas.
- Keep the laundry facility clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor promptly.
- Manage inventory of laundry supplies and detergents, requesting restocking as needed.
- Minimum of a SSCE or relevant professional certification in hospitality or related fields.
- Proven working experience as a laundry attendant, preferably within a hotel or hospitality setting.
- Strong knowledge of fabric types, chemical usage, and modern laundry equipment operation.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage time effectively under pressure.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads.
