About the Role
Rustic Cheers Restaurant & Lounge is an inviting casual dining spot located at Shop A2, Kajo Mall, Fate Road, Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria. It is highly popular for its cozy ambiance, continental dishes, and lively weekly karaoke events. We are currently looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our hospitality team and help us maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our facility.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming floors in the restaurant, lounge, and restrooms.
- Ensure all dining tables, chairs, bar surfaces, and windows are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized regularly throughout the shift.
- Properly dispose of refuse, empty trash bins, and manage waste disposal protocols according to health and safety standards.
- Wash, sanitize, and polish glassware, cutlery, and kitchen utensils as required by operational demands.
- Restock restrooms with essential supplies such as soap, tissue paper, and hand sanitizers consistently.
- Report any maintenance issues, repairs needed, or safety hazards immediately to restaurant management.
- Proven professional experience working as a cleaner, custodian, or similar role, preferably within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
- Possess relevant educational qualifications and basic training in sanitation and safety practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to stand, bend, and lift moderate loads for extended periods.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively on morning, evening, or weekend shifts.
- Residency in Ilorin, Kwara State, with easy accessibility to Fate Road.
