About the Role
Angels Newworld International School, a premier co-educational institution located in Sango-Ota, Ogun State, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our dedicated support staff. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment across our Nursery, Primary, and Secondary sections, ensuring our campus remains conducive to learning and holistic student development.
Key Responsibilities- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing floors, furniture, and fixtures across classrooms, offices, and restrooms.
- Ensure proper disposal of waste and maintain clean trash receptacles throughout the school premises.
- Sanitize high-touch surfaces regularly to promote a healthy and germ-free environment for students and staff.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards promptly to the school management.
- Manage cleaning supplies efficiently and ensure equipment is properly stored after use.
- Minimum of relevant SSCE or equivalent qualifications.
- At least 2 years of proven working experience as a cleaner, preferably within a school or educational setting.
- Must be willing to commit to working with the institution for a minimum of two (2) years.
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic with keen attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively within a team environment.
