About the Role
Hotel Dchis, a premier three-star hotel located in Eliozu, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, is seeking a diligent and meticulous Cleaner to join our vibrant housekeeping team. Key Responsibilities- Perform thorough cleaning duties in guest rooms, suites, and bathrooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and changing bed linens.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness in all public areas, corridors, lobbies, and recreational facilities.
- Replenish guest amenities, toiletries, and towels according to hotel standards.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or lost and found items promptly to the housekeeping supervisor.
- Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Ensure all cleaning carts are fully stocked and organized at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Minimum of a SSCE or relevant academic qualification.
- Proven professional experience as a cleaner, housekeeper, or similar role within the hospitality industry is strongly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision, both independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to stand, bend, and lift heavy items for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-friendly attitude.
