About the Role
Eloheem Mission Academy, a reputable Christian private school located in the Kofai ATC neighborhood of Jalingo, Taraba State, is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment that is conducive to learning and growth for our students and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Perform thorough cleaning duties across classrooms, administrative offices, hallways, restrooms, and common areas.
- Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors regularly, ensuring they remain spotless and hazard-free.
- Empty trash receptacles, dispose of waste properly, and sanitize bins on a daily basis.
- Dust and wipe down furniture, windows, chalkboards/whiteboards, and school fixtures.
- Ensure cleaning supplies are properly stored and report any maintenance issues or facility damage to school management promptly.
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines within a school environment.
- Relevant qualifications and proven working experience as a cleaner, preferably within an educational or institutional setting.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate strong time-management skills.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to perform manual tasks effectively throughout the workday.
- Trustworthy, honest, and possessing high standards of personal hygiene and professional conduct.
- Familiarity with the local Jalingo community is an added advantage.
