About the Role
Garment Care Limited, Nigeria's premier dry cleaning service provider established in 1999, is looking for a dedicated Production Officer to join our dynamic team in Lagos. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all customer items—from everyday wear to delicate specialty garments like wedding dresses—are expertly cleaned, ironed, and finished to the highest quality standards using our advanced fabric care techniques.
Key Responsibilities- Perform hands-on processing, washing, dry-cleaning, and spot cleaning of various fabrics and garment types.
- Operate industrial laundry and dry-cleaning equipment efficiently and safely.
- Inspect finished garments meticulously to ensure they meet Garment Care's strict quality standards.
- Coordinate ironing, pressing, and packaging of items for prompt customer collection or delivery.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production workspace in compliance with company protocols.
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report maintenance needs promptly to management.
- Minimum of a Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in a relevant field.
- Proven hands-on experience in commercial laundry, dry cleaning, or garment processing is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment while standing for extended periods.
- Good communication skills and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and quality control.
- Residency within the Lagos metropolis is required.
