About the Role
Az-Zahrawain Integrated Academy is a reputable Islamic integrated school located in Katsina, Nigeria, committed to blending standard academic subjects with comprehensive Islamic and Arabic education under the motto "Two Lights – One Path to Excellence." We are currently seeking passionate, qualified, and morally upright Classroom Teachers for our nursery section to help shape the minds of our youngest learners in a nurturing, values-based environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored for nursery students, incorporating both academic and Islamic foundational teachings.
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment that fosters early childhood development and moral uprightness.
- Monitor, assess, and document student progress, providing regular feedback to parents regarding academic and behavioral development.
- Instill Islamic manners, values, and etiquettes (Adab) in daily classroom routines and interactions.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and school administration to execute school curricula, events, and extracurricular activities effectively.
- Maintain accurate attendance records and ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children under your care.
- Must be a practicing Muslim with exemplary Islamic character, moral conduct, and alignment with our core philosophy.
- Possess relevant academic qualifications in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field.
- Demonstrable work experience teaching in a nursery or early years educational setting.
- Strong passion for integrated Islamic and standard academic education.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills with high levels of discipline and dedication to duty.
