About the Role
Preeminence International Montessori School is a reputable, child-centered educational institution located in Ugwugo-Nike, Enugu, Nigeria. We are dedicated to providing exceptional early childhood and primary education that fosters holistic child development. We are currently seeking a passionate, dedicated, and dynamic Classroom Teacher to join our committed team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a stimulating, nurturing, and engaging learning environment where young learners can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Please note that this position requires the candidate to reside within the school premises.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and interactive lessons aligned with the school curriculum and Montessori standards.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly classroom environment conducive to learning and child development.
- Monitor, evaluate, and document students academic progress, behavioral growth, and developmental milestones.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues through effective communication.
- Inculcate strong moral and ethical values in students, promoting discipline and good manners.
- Coordinate extracurricular activities, school events, and student leadership initiatives.
- Minimum of NCE, B.Ed, or equivalent in Education or a related discipline.
- Proven teaching experience in an early childhood or primary education setting is a strong advantage.
- Certification or specialized training in Montessori education will be an added advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal coordination skills.
- Willingness and readiness to reside within the school premises in Ugwuogo-Nike, Enugu.
