About the Role

We are currently looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Class Assistant to join our vibrant early childhood learning community in Nigeria. In this role, you will work closely with lead teachers to create a secure, engaging, and peaceful atmosphere where learning feels like play, ensuring that our little ones feel valued, protected, and inspired every single day.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist lead teachers in setting up engaging learning materials and preparing the classroom environment daily.
  • Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities to ensure their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Provide individualized attention and gentle guidance to students who need extra support with daily routines and learning tasks.
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming Montessori-aligned classroom space conducive to child development.
  • Collaborate effectively with teaching staff to monitor student progress and maintain positive communication with parents.
  • Support children with personal care, hygiene routines, and snack times with patience and empathy.
Qualifications
  • Possession of a relevant academic qualification, certificate, or diploma in education, childcare, or a related field.
  • A genuine passion for early childhood development and a deep understanding of Montessori principles is an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills with a warm and approachable personality.
  • Demonstrated patience, reliability, and the ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team of educators.
  • Prior experience in a school or childcare setting is an added advantage but not strictly mandatory for enthusiastic applicants.
