About the Role
Alpha Bravo Integrated Services Limited is a premier provider of customized technical solutions for companies operating within the Maritime, Petrochemical, Energy, Oil, and Gas sectors. We are currently seeking a dynamic and skilled Civil / Structural Design Engineer to join our expanding engineering team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering robust structural designs for complex marine and energy infrastructure projects, ensuring adherence to the highest international industry standards, safety protocols, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities- Develop detailed civil and structural engineering designs, calculations, and drawings for various oil, gas, and marine infrastructure projects.
- Perform structural analysis using industry-standard software such as STAAD.Pro, AutoCAD, and SAP2000.
- Prepare comprehensive technical specifications, bill of quantities (BOQ), and tender documentation.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams, including marine operations, project managers, and client representatives.
- Conduct site surveys, feasibility studies, and structural integrity assessments as required.
- Ensure all engineering designs comply with relevant Nigerian local codes and international standards (e.g., API, ISO, Eurocodes).
- Review vendor drawings and provide technical oversight during construction and fabrication phases.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 4 to 7 years of proven design experience within the Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, or Maritime industries.
- Proficiency in structural analysis and computer-aided design software.
- Active registration or eligibility for registration with COREN is strictly required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of offshore and onshore structural design principles.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
