About the Role
Elizabeth Maddeux Limited seeks a skilled Civil Engineer to bridge technical expertise with commercial success. This unique role combines engineering design and project management with technical sales support, requiring professionals who can translate complex engineering requirements into client solutions while maintaining site excellence and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, review, and validate engineering designs, drawings, cost estimates, and feasibility studies in accordance with industry standards and regulations
- Deliver comprehensive technical support and advisory services to project teams, contractors, and stakeholders, including real-time problem resolution
- Support technical sales initiatives by contributing to proposals, leading client meetings, and translating business requirements into engineering solutions
- Supervise site activities to ensure strict adherence to approved designs, quality standards, and construction specifications
- Implement and enforce QA/QC procedures while maintaining compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory frameworks
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation while evaluating vendors and managing procurement
- Prepare detailed technical reports, documentation, and progress updates; serve as liaison between site teams, management, and clients
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- 3–5 years of demonstrated experience in construction, infrastructure, or structural engineering projects
- Technical sales, client-facing engineering, or technical solution support experience preferred
- Proficiency in CAD software and engineering design tools
- Comprehensive knowledge of safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards
- COREN professional certification or registration is advantageous
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills
