About the Role
African Natural Resources & Mines Limited (ANRML), a key subsidiary of African Industries Group, is seeking a driven and technically inclined Civil Engineer Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) to join our dynamic engineering team in Agbara, Ogun State. This position offers a unique opportunity for a recent graduate to undergo structured on-the-job training, gaining hands-on experience in construction supervision, project execution, and industrial facility maintenance.
Key Responsibilities- Assist senior engineers in planning, coordinating, and supervising daily civil engineering activities and ongoing infrastructure projects.
- Support site inspections to ensure strict compliance with approved structural drawings, engineering standards, and technical specifications.
- Perform quantity take-offs, material calculations, measurements, and assist in preparing comprehensive daily site reports.
- Supervise contractors, artisans, and site workers while monitoring the quality of construction materials and workmanship.
- Participate in preventive and corrective maintenance of industrial buildings, roads, drainage systems, and civil infrastructure.
- Ensure full compliance with company Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies during all on-site operations.
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Civil Engineering from a recognized and accredited institution.
- 0 to 2 years of relevant professional experience; fresh graduates and NYSC completion certificate holders are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Basic knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, and site safety practices.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, with basic proficiency in AutoCAD as a distinct advantage.
- Good command of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel, for documentation and reporting.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, high attention to detail, and a genuine eagerness to learn in a fast-paced industrial environment.
