About the Role
Domeo Resources International (DRI), a leading HR and Management Consultancy firm, is hiring a skilled Civil Engineer on behalf of our esteemed client in the hospitality sector. In this role, you will oversee all civil works, structural maintenance, and building infrastructure to ensure the hotel property meets top-tier safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect hotel buildings, structures, external areas, and civil infrastructure regularly to identify defects and maintenance requirements.
- Plan, supervise, and coordinate civil maintenance, repairs, renovations, and improvement projects.
- Monitor the structural condition of buildings, walls, ceilings, floors, roofing systems, drainage structures, and other facilities.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all civil and structural components.
- Supervise contractors, artisans, and technicians carrying out construction and maintenance activities.
- Ensure all civil works comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and timelines.
- Monitor repairs for concrete defects, leaking roofs, damaged walls, flooring, tiling, and paving.
- Oversee the maintenance of drainage systems, walkways, parking areas, external walls, and outdoor infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with applicable building, health, safety, and environmental standards.
- B.Sc. or B.Eng. in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in civil engineering, construction, or facilities management, preferably within hospitality or commercial real estate.
- Strong knowledge of structural maintenance, concrete works, drainage, waterproofing, and finishing.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- COREN registration or eligibility for professional certification is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant engineering software.
