About the Role

We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Pressure Controlled Equipment (PCE) Technician to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, testing, repair, certification support, and operational readiness of Pressure Control Equipment used in well intervention and coiled tubing operations. You will ensure all equipment is meticulously maintained to industry standards, company procedures, and regulatory requirements while supporting safe and efficient field operations.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and certify Pressure Control Equipment (PCE), including coiled tubing BOPs and associated systems, in accordance with OEM specifications and industry standards.
- Perform equipment function testing, pressure testing, ram changeouts, and maintenance of blind, shear, slip, and pipe rams to guarantee operational integrity and regulatory compliance.
- Provide technical support for well intervention and coiled tubing operations, encompassing equipment preparation, mobilization, rig-up, rig-down, and troubleshooting.
- Manage comprehensive equipment records, maintenance documentation, inventory control, and logistics coordination to ensure efficient utilization in compliance with Nigerian regulations.
- Promote and maintain the highest standards of health, safety, quality, and operational excellence by strictly adhering to HSE policies and conducting risk assessments.
- HND in Engineering fields including Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Petroleum, or Materials/Metallurgy.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience on coiled tubing BOPs, specifically TOT (Texas Oil Tools) ES, EZ, and EH series.
- Familiarity with Quad, Dual Combi, and Single Combi configurations in nominal sizes 3-1/16”, 4-1/16”, 5-1/8”, and 7-1/16” (10K and 15K).
- Demonstrated experience with ram change-out, function testing, and maintenance of blind, shear, slip, and pipe rams.
- Previous TOT (Texas Oil Tools) training or certification is highly preferred.
