We are currently looking for a passionate, knowledgeable, and disciplined Civic Education Teacher to join our esteemed faculty in Abuja. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping students' understanding of citizenship, governance, and moral responsibility within a supportive, faith-based learning environment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and comprehensive Civic Education lessons across secondary levels based on the dual NERDC and British curricula.
- Foster a classroom environment that encourages critical thinking, national consciousness, and adherence to Islamic moral values.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support to ensure academic success.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary activities and school events that promote leadership and community service.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and behavioral development.
- Participate actively in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and school-wide extracurricular activities.
- Bachelor's Degree in Education, Political Science, Government, or a related field (NCE or Master's degree is an added advantage).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of cognate teaching experience in a reputable school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge of Nigerian and British educational standards.
- Demonstrated commitment to Islamic values, ethics, and disciplined school culture.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a natural passion for mentoring young minds.
