About the Role
The Bible Society of Nigeria, a legacy organization founded in 1966, is recruiting a Church & Public Relations Officer to strengthen its presence and impact in the Eastern Zone. You will be instrumental in building relationships with churches, donors, and community stakeholders while executing innovative resource mobilization strategies that support our mission of scripture distribution and biblical advocacy.
Key Responsibilities- Lead resource mobilization initiatives and campaigns to fund organizational projects and programmes
- Service and maintain relationships with existing donors and organizational members
- Identify and recruit new donors and members through strategic prospecting and engagement
- Deliver compelling presentations at churches and Christian organizations to garner institutional support
- Manage donor relations effectively to ensure sustained commitment and satisfaction
- Collaborate on event planning and programme execution across the Eastern Zone
- Develop and expand the organization's vibrant presence throughout assigned territories
- Support broader organizational objectives and operational excellence
- Bachelor's degree (B.Sc./HND) in Mass Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related field
- Minimum 3 years' professional experience in marketing, sales, or business development
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, Excel, Canva, Corel Draw, and Photoshop
- Strong digital marketing capabilities and social media expertise
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Demonstrated knowledge of nonprofit operations and philanthropic ecosystems
- Membership in NIPR or ARCON professional bodies (preferred)
- Age: Maximum 35 years (flexible with 5+ years' experience)
- Self-motivated and results-driven professional
- Passionate about community impact and faith-based initiatives
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
