About the Role
Anthony White Bridge Academy, a leading co-educational private Nursery, Primary, and Secondary school in Mowe, Ogun State, is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Christian Religious Studies (CRS) Teacher to join our team of committed educators. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that nurture students' moral, spiritual, and intellectual development while upholding the school's tradition of academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver well-structured CRS lessons in line with the approved curriculum
- Foster students' understanding of Christian values, ethics, and biblical teachings
- Develop instructional materials and assessments to evaluate students' progress
- Encourage critical thinking and moral reasoning through classroom discussions and activities
- Maintain accurate records of students' academic performance and attendance
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary and extracurricular activities
- Participate in school assemblies, devotions, and other faith-based programs
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding students' academic and moral development
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment for all students
- B.Ed, B.Sc, PGDE, or M.Sc in Religious Studies, Education, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years teaching experience in a reputable, top-flight school
- Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) certification is compulsory
- Strong knowledge of Christian doctrines, ethics, and biblical history
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills
- Passion for mentoring young minds and instilling strong moral values
- Proficiency in the use of modern teaching aids and technology
