About the Role
Ganfeng Lithium Industry Limited is a leading global mining and mineral processing company with operations in Nigeria, specializing in the exploration, extraction, and sustainable processing of lithium. We are currently seeking a dedicated and bilingual Chinese Translator to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will bridge the language barrier, ensuring clear, accurate, and efficient communication between our Chinese expatriate management team and local Nigerian staff across various departments.
Key Responsibilities- Translate spoken and written communication fluently between English and Mandarin Chinese during daily interactions.
- Facilitate precise interpretation during business meetings, operational discussions, and technical briefings.
- Accurately translate official company documents, safety manuals, technical reports, and correspondence.
- Support cross-functional communication and foster positive working relationships between departments.
- Perform additional language-related duties and administrative tasks as assigned by the management team.
- Full professional proficiency in both Mandarin Chinese and English, encompassing spoken, reading, and writing skills.
- Possession of an HSK certification is considered a strong added advantage.
- Demonstrated excellence in interpersonal communication, active listening, and cross-cultural awareness.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced mining environment while maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Previous professional experience in interpretation or translation within industrial or corporate settings is highly preferred.
