About the Role
BGE (Nigeria) Solar FZE, a leading enterprise in the new energy photovoltaic cell industry, is recruiting an experienced Chinese Chef to join our growing team in Nigeria. You will be responsible for preparing authentic, high-quality Chinese cuisine for our expatriate staff and management, maintaining exceptional kitchen standards, and ensuring consistent meal excellence across breakfast, lunch, and dinner services.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare authentic Chinese meals daily for executive staff and expatriate employees
- Design and rotate weekly menus featuring balanced, high-quality traditional Chinese dishes (Sichuan, Cantonese, Hunan, or Northern styles preferred)
- Manage food inventory, source local and imported ingredients, and oversee kitchen stock management
- Maintain clean, hygienic kitchen conditions with strict adherence to food safety compliance standards
- Supervise kitchen operations, manage equipment maintenance, and coordinate with kitchen assistants
- Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience as a Chinese Chef in corporate cafeterias, hotels, high-end restaurants, or expat residential facilities
- Mastery of authentic Chinese cooking techniques including stir-frying, braising, steaming, wok control, and advanced seasoning methods
- Comprehensive knowledge of food safety, kitchen hygiene, and strategic menu planning
- Highly reliable, punctual, hygienic, and capable of working efficiently within structured meal schedules
