About the Role
Arewa Trade and Investment Promotion Council invites applications from accomplished technology leaders to establish and lead its Technology, AI & Enterprise Transformation Commercialization Department. This high-impact executive role will provide complete technology engineering and lifecycle services to affiliated companies and external commercial clients, managing six core digital operating systems spanning education, ethical finance, commerce, payments, mineral trade, and investment facilitation.
Key Responsibilities- Lead engineering takeover, architecture assessment, and technical remediation of existing platforms.
- Establish secure development, testing, deployment, and production operations infrastructure.
- Drive enterprise software, AI solutions, systems integration, and managed services delivery.
- Recruit, mentor, and manage high-performing engineers, technical specialists, and delivery personnel.
- Develop technical proposals, competitive service offerings, and commercial delivery standards.
- Establish operational resilience, cybersecurity controls, system monitoring, and incident management protocols.
- Support executive education, research, and enterprise advisory practices across the council.
- Substantial production software engineering experience with a strong track record in technical leadership.
- Demonstrable competence in modern web architectures, backend engineering, PostgreSQL, and cloud infrastructure.
- Extensive expertise in APIs, application security, and DevSecOps practices.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted software development and enterprise AI solutions is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to transition incomplete or prototype applications into secure, dependable production environments.
