About the Role
Sophia ERP Limited (SEL) is a leading Enterprise Solutions Development Organization on a mission to power MSMEs and large corporates across sub-Saharan Africa with cost-effective and suitable technology solutions. With our proprietary Sophia ERP Business Suite, we serve industries ranging from aviation and manufacturing to financial services and education. We are currently looking for a passionate and driven Software Developer to join our growing team in Lagos, Nigeria, and contribute to the development of robust, scalable applications.
Key Responsibilities- Produce clean, efficient, and well-documented code based on technical specifications.
- Design, develop, implement, and manage software programs, applications, and projects.
- Integrate software components and third-party programs to enhance system functionality.
- Test and evaluate new applications and projects to ensure optimal performance.
- Identify areas for modification in existing programs and develop necessary updates.
- Verify and deploy programs and systems seamlessly into production environments.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software to improve user experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of practical working experience in software development.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
- Demonstrable knowledge of ASP.NET, Python, PHP, or any other programming language supported by practical projects.
- Must have completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program.
- Must not be above 30 years of age and must reside on the Lagos Mainland.
