About the Role
Mshel Homes Limited is an independent real estate development company located in Abuja, Nigeria, dedicated to delivering dream homes and structural excellence. We are currently seeking a visionary, hands-on, and technically strong Chief Technical Officer (CTO) to spearhead our architectural, design, engineering, and construction operations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide overall technical leadership for all construction and real estate development projects from concept to completion.
- Lead the architectural design process, ensuring aesthetic appeal, cost efficiency, functionality, and constructability.
- Establish, implement, and maintain rigorous technical standards, procedures, and construction best practices across sites.
- Review and approve architectural, structural, MEP, and technical documentation, shop drawings, and material samples.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality reviews to identify defects, enforce high standards, and ensure flawless execution.
- Drive value engineering initiatives, evaluating alternative construction methods and materials to optimize costs and durability.
- Coordinate seamlessly among internal teams, architects, structural engineers, MEP consultants, contractors, and specialist subcontractors.
- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Building Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10+ years of progressive technical leadership experience in real estate development or construction.
- Deep understanding of building details, waterproofing, structural integrity, MEP systems, and Nigerian building codes.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and project management software.
